Hi! I’m Jenni, an English teenager who has Coeliac Disease (gluten free) and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (also known as ME). I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease in 2015 and 2016 (I was diagnosed twice!) after a long period of illness during my GCSEs. I have also been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome after feeling under the weather during my A levels.
I started this blog as I found my Coeliac diagnosis to be very daunting! I wasn’t given many resources from my consultant and dietitian so I went searching the internet instead. I want my blog to be a useful resource for people newly diagnosed as well as long-running coeliacs.
I’m a big foodie who loves baking and cooking! I’m a big supporter of buying British and supporting British farmers as I am from a farming background. My grandparents have a farm which I help out on as often as possible and I often feature their honey, eggs, lamb, goat and vegetables in my recipes and meals. I’m also a member of my local Young Farmers’ club. As well as farming, I also ride horses! I ride at a well-known stables in Cirencester and only do dressage. As well as riding, I also go to a weekly pilates class.
